“The skill, the art of literacy is a gift. To read is to watch in your mind as a single word explodes into a confetti of images. Truly, of all the gifts given to man, reading is most sacred, For from words come dreams and from dreams come great tomorrows.” ― Stephen Cosgrove
We understand that literacy works as a process, and that the acquisition of literacy, as with any new skill, takes time, patience, and perseverance. We also understand that the steps taken toward literacy are always worth the time and effort we put into them, because literacy itself is the first step in the journey toward a brighter and more sustainable tomorrow.
Each of our six Steps to Literacy Sponsors will be commemorated for their generous gift of at least $5,000 by having the name of their business, family, or organization engraved or secured on a plaque on one of the steps in the community amphitheater of the literacy center at Asisiriwa. These paradigms of giving will also receive a certificate of sponsorship from Untold International for their generosity.
100% of the Steps to Literacy Sponsor’s donation will be used for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the literacy center at Asisiriwa.
