We are incredibly blessed to have creative and talented friends who are generous and gracious enough to donate their time and gifts to help us raise money. Jennie and Matt are two such people. They’re kind, funny, extremely intelligent, and hard-working–not to mention very loving (of us and each other!). When I approached Jennie about donating pictures for our campaign, she said yes without hesitation, and they came out beautifully. Matt was also enthusiastic, and as a budding filmmaker and student of cinema, we asked him to donate a video for our campaign (which will be forthcoming).
Even though it was cold and sort of snowy and drizzly the day we decided to take pictures and film the video, Jennie and Matt both buoyed our spirits by laughing and joking with us the whole time. They were also incredibly patient with us as we scrambled to get things organized and redirected plans. By the time it was all said and done, they had spent probably 12-14 hours with us, and yet they still accepted our offer to take them out to dinner sometime as thanks.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated, and want to give a special thanks to Jennie and Matt, who helped get us up and running.
