> It’s communal. In the spirit of the Nguni Bantu philosophy of ubuntu (“I am because we are”). We exist in community, and our funding reflects that.

Your Untold Dollar could provide school textbooks to students, training for future educators, extracurricular enrichment programs for children and adults, protection and revitalization for endangered languages, and develop new opportunities for creative and critical thinking. Your gift has a real and immediate impact. Here are some of our current projects.
We believe stories have the power to unlock imagination, which in turn unlocks creative and critical thinking skills. We believe sustainable solutions come from within, and we believe in empowering leaders, entrepreneurs, and creatives through literacy and literature.
Most recently we partnered with the community of Asisiriwa to create our first literacy center, Kasadwini Atenaeɛ. This center houses a library of African and world literature in English and Asante Twi, which opened March 6, 2019. It also includes a covered amphitheater and a classroom for extracurricular literacy and writing classes for all ages – in English and Twi.
